Personally it started way back, using my grandfathers Kodak folding cameras. Moving on in the early 80’s using pretty heavy Russian “Zenit” 35mm cameras to much nicer Olympus, Nikon and Pentax. This fascination with photography and how it can capture the moment, that one perfect shot and then to develop it and see the colours unfolding has persisted to the resent day. ( With only 24 or 36 shots per roll it was a very challenging time!)

Now of course the advent of digital makes a lot more possible , faster “film” almost unlimited shots its much less frustrating and more of a joy.

Primarily we use Fuji cameras, the colours straight out of the camera are superb! This leaves the photographer to concentrate on the framing and other details and hopefully improving with every shoot.

So why Halfcase ? Its simply that most of the cameras I use are protected by classic leather half cases, and they have needed it sometimes!

As a growing company, we’re dedicated to sharing this vision and working with and learning from other photographers.
